MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) – No one will help with Ukraine’s recovery except Belarus and Russia, Ukrainian MP Artem Dmitruk said in the latest episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA’s YouTube channel.
According to the MP, normal relations with Minsk and Moscow are in Kiev’s genuine interest. For Ukraine, a state of “normality” is defined first and foremost by a spiritual unity of Kiev, Moscow, and Minsk. “Only then do we factor in our geographical location, our industrial and economic potential, and so on,” Artem Dmitruk said. “First and foremost, I view this, of course, from a spiritual perspective. Then I look at our relations as someone who thinks about the national interests of his country.”
Artem Dmitruk is convinced that no one will aid in Ukraine’s post-war recovery except Belarus and Russia. “At many international forums today, discussing ‘post-war recovery’ has become a trend. The best and most logical step here would be Ukraine’s cooperation with Russia and Belarus. This is also stated by Aleksandr Grigoryevich [Lukashenko] as a leader who always thinks about the national interests of his people,” the Ukrainian MP summarized.
