Ukrainian MP explains reasons for Zelensky's aggressive rhetoric against Lukashenko

MINSK, 29 January (BelTA) – The task of Vladimir Zelensky is to escalate the conflict in Ukraine, and his aggressive rhetoric against Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko can be explained precisely by this, Ukrainian MP Artem Dmitruk said in the latest episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA’s YouTube channel.
“Zelensky has a specific task, which is as follows: to prolong and escalate the conflict as effectively as possible. In other words, to exacerbate the processes of war,” Artem Dmitruk said.

The MP is convinced that this precisely explains Vladimir Zelensky's aggressive rhetoric towards the Belarusian leader. “Zelensky has done this more than once and will do so again,” he added.

Artem Dmitruk emphasized that the Belarusian president cares more about peace in Ukraine than the Ukrainian leadership itself. In support of his words, he recalled the statement by the Belarusian leader about the Board of Peace which was initiated by the USA. The Belarusian head of state expressed the hope that this organization would help bring peace closer in Ukraine. “Even now, Aleksandr Lukashenko is saying that this format could also be applied to the Ukrainian crisis,” the MP noted.
