MINSK, 12 March (BelTA) – Belarus reached record-high figures in tourism service exports in 2025, the government press service told BelTA.

“Thanks to the systematic work of the government, state bodies, and organizations, we can report steady growth in key tourism indicators. In 2025, Belarus achieved the highest volume of tourism service exports in its history: over $392 million, which was 46% more than in 2024. The number of organized Belarusian tourists and excursion participants traveling within the country increased nearly fourfold compared to 2020, reaching 2.212 million people. In 2024, this figure stood at 1.726 million,” the press service said.

The number of trips made by foreign citizens to the Republic of Belarus increased by 13.6%, totaling 7.51 million visits.

Tourism infrastructure is also developing. The number of hotels grew by 6.5% to 1,167, while the total number of rooms increased by 3.6% to 42,525.

“These results expand opportunities for travel across the country, improve the accessibility of leisure for citizens, and enhance Belarus’ international appeal,” the press service added.
