MINSK, 30 June (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko extended the agenda of the EAEU summit in Minsk by adding a number of additional items to the agenda of the narrow-attendance meeting, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Natalya Petkevich said on the air of the Belarus 1 TV channel on 29 June, BelTA learned.
“All the heads of state showed a brilliant example of how to work very tightly and very efficiently. It is impressive that all heads of state are very well-versed in the issues, including those that were raised unexpectedly. The president of Belarus extended the agenda of the narrow-attendance meeting. Instead of one item that was agreed upon, the heads of state discussed four more, very serious issues,” she said.
“The heads of state had a constructive exchange of views, and where they did not make a decision, they outlined the ways to move forward for the EEC Council or the governments,” Natalya Petkevich added.
