Over 4,400 vehicles line up at Belarusian border to enter EU

MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – More than 4,400 vehicles are waiting to enter the EU ahead of the weekend, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

At the Polish border crossing Kukuryki (Kozlovichi on the Belarusian side), 360 trucks are awaiting entry into Poland. Over the past 24 hours, its personnel admitted 58% of the standard number of trucks.

Control agencies of the Latvian border crossing Paternieki (Grigorovshchina on the Belarusian side) cleared 42% of the standard number of trucks. There are currently 120 trucks waiting to enter Latvia.

A total of 2,950 cars and 75 buses are queuing up near the Polish border crossing Terespol (Brest on the Belarusian side).  The Polish side cleared 30% of the standard number of vehicles within the last 24 hours.
