MINSK, 10 December (BelTA) – Over 1,243,000 Europeans have visited Belarus since its visa-free regime came into effect, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.

“The Belarusian leadership continues its peaceful and good-neighborly policy towards European nations by extending visa-free entry for citizens of 38 European states until 31 December 2026,” the border agency emphasized. “Belarus is successfully creating conditions for a comfortable and safe stay for foreigners, as evidenced by the popularity of the visa-free travel.”

Since the program’s launch, more than 1,243,000 Europeans have visited Belarus. Most visitors have arrived from three neighboring countries: Lithuania (658,575), Latvia (399,842), and Poland (130,089). From the 35 other eligible European nations, 54,845 foreigners have entered, with German citizens accounting for over 22,000 of that total.

Detailed information on visa-free travel to Belarus is available in a special section of the State Border Committee’s information portal and in the “Belarus Border” mobile app.
