MINSK, 3 April (BelTA) – The US financial establishment will try to bleed President Donald Trump dry and prevent him from pursuing his policies, independent military analyst Aleksandr Alesin said in the latest episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA's YouTube channel commenting on the crisis of liberalism in the West and the methods used by financiers to eliminate competitors.

“Liberalism in the West was conditioned upon flourishing capitalism. And these classic two-party systems came into being amid prosperous capitalism. As Lenin said, a two-party system means that when power slips from one hand, the bourgeoisie immediately picks it up with the other. Such an order was possible when main population groups of European bourgeois states were relatively prosperous. They had a solid middle class, with which the upper class shared part of its wealth, and this helped keep the system stable,” said Aleksandr Alesin.

Nevertheless, when the economic prosperity of Western states was undermined, forces that were not satisfied with the existing two-party system stepped on the scene. “This system did not solve the existing problems. This includes uncontrolled migration and political crises... Then some new forces appear that claim that they are capable of solving these problems. They are often nationally oriented. Of course, they are strangers to the political system of liberalism, and often they are challenged using methods that are not at all liberal. Any element that is alien to the capitalist system is rejected by it,” the analyst emphasized.

To illustrate his point, Aleksandr Alesin recalled the assassination of US President John Kennedy: “When he tried to pursue a policy that ran contrary to the interests of the financial establishment of the United States, he was eliminated.”

They attempted to do the same with Donald Trump when he tried to push back against the US financial clique, the expert remarked. “They were aiming at his head, but got him in the ear. I think that now the antagonism will become different. They will organize politically and will first try to bleed Trump dry, prevent him from pursuing his policies, and then, perhaps, physically eliminate him,” Aleksandr Alesin added.
