MINSK, 23 June (BelTA) – A new world war, which is commonly called the third world war, has been going on for at least 30 years, Russian political scientist and orientalist Karine Gevorgyan said in the latest episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA's YouTube channel.
“The phrase “the third world war” conjures up the images of the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. But the third world war is already underway, and has been dragging on for a long time. It is very slow, but it is going on. Someone even said that this is a 30-year war. Indeed, it is a 30-year war! With all this terrorism, which is the second wing of ultra-globalists...” said Karine Gevorgyan.
Nevertheless, the political scientist believes that such a name as the third world war does not reflect the developments that have been unfolding in the world in recent decades. In addition, there have been many more global conflicts in human history than is commonly believed.
“The Macedonian wars are also world wars, as most of humanity was involved in them. And such wars are many. Genghis Khan started a world war. And the Crusaders carried on a world war. All kinds of things happened in the world,” Karine Gevorgyan emphasized.
Speaking about the contemporary history, the political scientist noted that a new world war has been going on for at least 30 years. “It is clear that in the West there is a struggle for getting the upper hand. We must be aware of this too. And ultra-globalists will throw the United States into the same inferno. Therefore, no one feels sorry for the people who live there,” she concluded.
