MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – Europe and American Democrats want to send peacekeepers to Ukraine in order to reignite the conflict, PhD in Law, expert on security services Sergei Karnaukhov said in a new episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA’s YouTube channel.
“Europe hopes that Trump will exhaust himself, that pouring money into the conflict will help prolong the agony of the Ukrainian political regime. The main thing they want is to deploy some peacekeeping contingents in Ukraine. This will allow them to reignite this conflict to make it easier to stage some provocation,” Sergei Karnaukhov said.
The expert believes that the war will continue with renewed vigor in this case: “At some point they will say that Russia has attacked these peacekeepers, and then no NATO mandate will be needed for them to band together and fight against us.”
