
MINSK, 28 September (BelTA) – The next session of the Belarusian People’s Congress is scheduled for the end of the year. Head of the Belarus President Administration Dmitry Krutoi made the statement on the air of the TV channel Belarus One, BelTA has learned.
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has recently mentioned a major government conference would be organized to discuss the performance of the economy so far this year. According to Dmitry Krutoi, the scope of the conversation will be much larger than a simple summation of the results.
“Since it will be necessary to hold the Belarusian People’s Congress at the end of the year and review the final version of the program on social and economic development for the next five years, I guess the conversation with the government will proceed along these lines,” the Belarus President Administration head said.
In his words, the schedule of the Belarusian leader also includes a great deal of international visits. “The president has a great deal of invitations. Together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our international partners we are now trying to make final decisions on these visits,” Dmitry Krutoi noted.
