MINSK, 2 October (BelTA) – Currency exchange machines were installed in the departures and arrivals area at Minsk National Airport, BelTA learned from the website of the airport.
The only currency exchange machine has earlier operated in the VIP lounge. Another two have been installed for convenience sake at sectors 5 and 6 in the arrivals hall and in the departures area.
The currency exchange machines convert to and from Russian rubles, Euros, and US dollars. There are plans to add China's Yuan in the near future. This equipment helped expand the currency exchange infrastructure at the airport.
Minsk National Airport is Belarus' first international airport that has been certified in compliance with the international standard ISO 9001. The airport is home to the national air carrier Belavia and the cargo carriers Transaviaexport, Rubystar, and Genex. The airport offers flights to over 40 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, and other regions.
