MINSK, 12 August (BelTA) – The youth forum titled Youth for the Union State will take place in Mogilev from 4 to 8 September, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Belarusian BRSM Youth Union Pavel Alekso told the media, BelTA learned.
“Applications are open for the Belarusian-Russian forum ‘Youth for the Union State’ which will take place in Mogilev on 4-8 September,” Pavel Alekso said. “The forum grew out of the traditional youth arts festival that had been held in Russia for nearly two decades. This year, it will be held in Mogilev for the first time.”

He noted that the event is not just a singing and dancing contest. “It is also a forum for young historians, which will be held at the recently opened Mogilev Oblast Glory Museum, on the premises and in the classrooms of Kuleshov Mogilev State University and the Belarusian-Russian University.”
The forum is organized by the Standing Committee of the Union State, with the Belarusian BRSM Youth Union serving as the coordinator for the Belarusian delegation.
