Ivan Tyapko will be among other Suvorov cadets to be marching in the parade. The boy was very excited to learn that he would participate in the parade. “We drilled several times a day. At first it was quite hard, but as time passed, we got better and better,” Ivan said.

The parade will also feature more than 220 units of hardware. These are both modern and modernized vehicles. Legendary T-34 tanks will lead the mechanized column.

Retro vehicles will be represented not only by Victory tanks but also the Katyusha rocket launchers.

Twin brothers will also take part in the parade. Both of them will be wearing the uniforms of the partisan unit. One of them, Yevgeny Mishchanchuk, said that this year’s parade is not the first for him.
“I participated in the parade four times. The first time was while I still was a cadet of the Military Academy. So this will be a jubilee parade for me,” Yevgeny Mishchanchuk said.
Among the new and modernized models will be T-72B3 tank, tracked infantry fighting vehicle BMP-2, armored personnel carriers BTR-82A, BTR-70, 122-mm self-propelled artillery system 2S1 Gvozdika and many others. The Polonez missile system, the Iskander operational-tactical missile system and the S-400 Triumf long- and medium-range air defense missile systems will also be paraded.

This is not the first time Svetlana Ivankova has participated in the parade. This parade is already the third for her. “My two sons, who are very proud of me, will also be watching me. I tell them about everything and prepare them for the army too. I myself have been serving for 10 years. It was a childhood dream,” Svetlana said.
