MINSK, 23 April (BelTA) – No Belarusian citizens have been injured or killed in the recent terrorist attack in India, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told the media answering a question from a BelTA correspondent.
“According to available information, no Belarusian citizens were injured or killed in the terrorist attack in India,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.
According to foreign media, the search for terrorists is underway in India. The area has been cordoned off, the police and the military are checking all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
Many tourists are leaving Jammu and Kashmir in a hurry. Local residents have decided to hold a mass rally to protest against such attacks - many institutions will be closed during the day. The shooting took place on Tuesday afternoon when gunmen opened fire on tourists near the town of Pahalgam.
