MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) – We have created all the necessary conditions for Lithuanian drivers to feel safe and secure in the designated parking areas, Belarusian Deputy Healthcare Minister – Chief State Sanitary Inspector of Belarus Svetlana Nechai told the media on 11 November, BelTA has learned.

Moreover, Belarusian side has provided facilities to heat up food almost around the clock and to have safe drinking water.
The Belarusian side has also taken care to ensure that people can freshen up and take a hot shower. Shower cabins and toilets have been set up at the designated parking areas near the Belarusian border checkpoints. “We have provided additional waste disposal bins and increased the frequency of cleaning to ensure almost impeccable maintenance of the stay areas,” Svetlana Nechai added.
The deputy healthcare minister thanked the drivers for keeping the temporary stay areas clean and tidy.
According to Svetlana Nechai, additional retail facilities and public catering points have been set up. “The quality of food products provided is very good,” Svetlana Nechai emphasized after visiting the Benyakoni border checkpoint on the Belarusian side.
