MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) - European organizations are directly interfering in the internal affairs of Belarus during the current presidential election, Head of the Belarus President Administration Dmitry Krutoi told the media, BelTA has learned.
“One of the hot topics of the last few days is the participation of international observers and the assessments made by the European Union represented by the European Parliament, the European External Action Service and the parliaments of our neighbors: Latvia and Poland,” Dmitry Krutoi said. “The relevant statements on non-recognition of the election have already been released. This is certainly a direct interference in our internal affairs, an attempt to put pressure on our voters and distort the electoral process that is currently underway.”
“We certainly do not accept and strongly condemn this. I fully support the tough statements made by the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” he added.
