MINSK, 4 April (BelTA) – In an interview with journalists from the First News Channel, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Natalya Kochanova explained why discipline is important and whether the directive on improving the public administration system and strengthening executive discipline signed by the head of state on 2 April will be effective, BelTA has learned.
“I have no doubt that this directive will produce results. First of all, it will help accelerate the approval of documents that government agencies cannot coordinate for years. This delays the adoption of certain decisions. Therefore, it seems to me that in this regard this document is absolutely necessary. As for executive discipline, I would like to point out that discipline is very important as such. Special attention should be paid to this. I believe that discipline is key to effective work of everyone, including government agencies, enterprises and organizations,” said Natalya Kochanova.
