MINSK, 24 June (BelTA) – The U.S. strike on Iran showed that this Middle Eastern country, which was perceived as part of the 'third world', is no longer so, national security expert Aleksandr Tishchenko said in a new episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA's YouTube channel.
“The American strike on Iran does not mean that America is strong, it means that Iran is not weak. Another fact proving this point is that after the strike, America started bracing up for something unpleasant, warning everyone and everything about repercussions. This suggests that the 'third world' is not as silent, not as weak and not as third as the West would like it to be. And this elicits the feeling of respect, rather than  fear,” said Aleksandr Tishchenko.

The expert noted that the White House reported on a successful strike on Iran's nuclear installations, but Washington is in no hurry to launch new strikes. “It means that the USA started a war, but will not fight. They have made one step forward and two steps back – just like Lenin said. And this is in line with those trends that are emerging in world politics today,” emphasized Aleksandr Tishchenko.
