MINSK, 17 August (BelTA) – Should U.S. President Donald Trump visit Belarus, his first stop must be the Brest Fortress, military expert and political analyst Yakov Kedmi said in the latest episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA’s YouTube channel.
“The first thing I would show Americans is the Brest Fortress – that wall inscribed in blood with ‘I am dying but not surrendering’. Let them see it. I can’t vouch for its veracity, but one statesman who saw it – Hitler brought Mussolini to the Brest Fortress – said: ‘These people cannot be defeated.’ Now consider Trump, who emphasizes military might and U.S. Army victories. I believe this is precisely the place to show him,” stated Yakov Kedmi.
