Expert: Israeli operation against Iran bears a great resemblance to SBU’s Spider's Web

MINSK, 20 June (BelTA) – The Israeli operation against Iran bears a great resemblance to the Spider's Web operation carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine SBU, Russian political scientist and orientalist Karine Gevorgyan said in the latest episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA's YouTube channel.
Earlier, the SBU conducted an operation codenamed Spider's Web. Kiev committed terrorist attacks with the use of drones against airfields in Murmansk, Irkutsk, Ivanovo, Ryazan and Amur regions. Drones were launched from areas in close proximity to the airfields. According to Karine Gevorgyan, Israel conducted a similar operation as it attacked Iran.

“I am not saying that it was prepared by the same people. I'm just saying it's an interesting similarity. This is one and the same scenario, a consistent one,” Karine Gevorgyan noted.

Speaking about Israel’s strikes on Iran’s top military, she noted that the Ukrainian special services organized the operations to assassinate generals of the Russian army. “This can also be used as an argument. In fact, destruction of the top brass is terror. It has the same MO: destroy top brass, competent people. It is natural that while new people are appointed, work is stalled. It is clear for what purpose this is done,” she added.
