MINSK, 13 November (BelTA) - Western and Ukrainian propaganda operate in such a way that they attempt to frame any negative event as a so-called Russian atrocity, former Prime Minister of Ukraine (2010-2014) Nikolai Azarov said in the latest episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA's YouTube channel.
The former prime minister compared the situation in today's Ukraine to a Nazi dictatorship that receives support from the West. “For example, Kaja Kallas is the granddaughter of a collaborator with the SS in Estonia. And Estonia, as we know, is a country that was occupied by Germany during the Great Patriotic War. A Nazi regime was established there, which is guilty of the annihilation of hundreds of thousands of Jews. And I am no longer outraged by the West's attitude, because I know that it is the West that is directing this policy,” he said.

According to Nikolai Azarov, the manifestation of Nazism in Ukraine can be seen first and foremost in the treatment of the civilian population. He noted that the killings of civilians by servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are far from isolated incidents. One recent case of egregious cruelty involved two residents of Kupyansk.

“You can have different opinions about soldiers engaged in combat. But when these soldiers, with or without Nazi patches, see two elderly men leaving Kupyansk... One of them has a white rag on a stick, indicating they are asking not to be fired upon. They are trying to save their lives because combat is ongoing in the city,” the former prime minister cited as one example. “And then a Nazi criminal, a Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier, observes all this through a camera on a drone. Using another drone, he calmly aims a strike at the head of one of the old men. He is killed. Then he [the Ukrainian serviceman[ kills the second old man.”

At the same time, Nikolai Azarov noted, this video was published as “an instance of Russian soldiers' atrocities”. “But why would Russian soldiers kill their own citizens? Only Nazis can kill their own population. Throughout history, the appearance of a person with a white flag has meant only one thing - they will not shoot and are asking for peace,” the former prime minister added.

In his words, Western and Ukrainian propaganda work in such a way that any real fact can be presented as Russian propaganda, turning everything on its head. Meanwhile, the Kiev regime, Nikolai Azarov emphasized, is guilty of the deaths of millions of Ukrainians and the destruction of the country's economy.
