
MINSK, 9 June (BelTA) - Belarus and Russia’s Kaliningrad Oblast will consider the possibility of launching flights from Brest, Aleksey Besprozvannykh, Governor of Russia's Kaliningrad Oblast, told the media on 9 June, BelTA has learned.
According to the head of the Russian region, passenger traffic between Kaliningrad Oblast and Belarus is constantly growing - by 15-20% every year. He flew to Minsk on a full flight himself. It is possible that the geography of flights may soon expand.
“We agreed to consider the possibility of air service between Brest and Kaliningrad. This is also a very important route, and we see interest in it from both sides,” said Aleksey Besprozvannykh.
