MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) – As many as 61 Belarusian citizens living abroad and registered with the consular authorities have already voted in the presidential election in Belarus, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Igor Karpenko told the media on 26 January, BelTA has learned.
“So far, 61 citizens of the Republic of Belarus living abroad and registered with the consular authorities have cast their votes. As for the regions, nine such citizens voted in Brest, four in Vitebsk, seven in Gomel, 14 in Grodno, 24 in Minsk and three in Mogilev,” Igor Karpenko said.
