MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) - The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends Belarusian citizens to refrain from traveling to Ecuador for the time being due to the worsening security situation, BelTA has learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Due to the worsening security situation and the state of emergency declared by the Ecuadorian authorities, we strongly recommend against traveling to that country until the situation is resolved," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Belarusian nationals currently in Ecuador should strictly follow the recommendations of the local authorities, the ministry said.
