MINSK, 22 December (BelTA) - Young Belarusians in Hungary received New Year’s congratulations and gifts as part of the Our Children campaign, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Hungary.
“Following the fine tradition established by our head of state Aleksandr Lukashenko, the nationwide charitable campaign Our Children is being held across Belarus and beyond its borders. In the city of Paks, the embassy took part in a festive event for the children of the Belarusian specialists working at the Paks-2 nuclear power plant construction site,” the embassy said.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Hungary Vladimir Ulakhovich delivered a congratulatory speech, presented New Year's gift sets to 23 young Belarusians and gave an updated edition of the National Atlas of the Republic of Belarus to the school.
Deputy President of Atomstroyexport, Director of the Paks-2 nuclear power plant construction project Vitaly Polyanin always extended Happy New Year wishes to the attendees.
