MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) – Belarus will raise the minimum subsistence budget on 1 February 2026, BelTA learned from the press service of the Labor and Social Security Ministry of Belarus.
The new minimum subsistence budget will be valid until 30 April 2026.
The new minimum subsistence budget on average per capita is set at Br496.96, which is 1.2% higher than the minimum subsistence budget that was in effect from 1 November 2025 until 31 January 2026.
The minimum subsistence budget in Belarus has been set at Br534.91 for working-age population, Br360.75 for pensioners, Br308.10 for children under 3 years, Br414.55 for children aged 3 to 6, and Br489.90 for children aged 6 to 18.
This is the first increase in the minimum subsistence budget in 2026.
