
MINSK, 28 May (BelTA) - Belarus will provide humanitarian aid to Tajikistan. Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin signed the corresponding resolution, BelTA learned from the government’s press service.
The Construction and Architecture Ministry, the Industry Ministry, the timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom and the state concern for oil and chemistry Belneftekhim shall provide goods for the humanitarian aid. The Transport Ministry and the Emergencies Ministry shall organize the delivery.
The humanitarian aid includes medical equipment for healthcare institutions and construction materials.
A reminder, several earthquakes hit several regions of Tajikistan on 13 April.
The resolution comes into force on the day of its adoption.
