MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) - On 27 May the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry will issue a stamp sheet titled 900th Anniversary of St. Euphrosyne Convent in Polotsk, the national postal service Belpochta told BelTA.
The stamp sheet has been made using the embossing technology and hot stamping process with the use of stamping gold foils, and has been printed without without relying on traditional post-press technology. The edition consists of 10,000 and 3,000 units, respectively. The sheet was designed by Evgenia Bedonik.
The first-day-of-issue dedication ceremony will take place at Post Office No. 15 in Polotsk, Vitebsk Oblast.
The project was prepared in cooperation with the Belarusian Orthodox Church.
