Belarus temporarily halts exit of Lithuanian-licensed vehicles

MINSK, 10 November (BelTA) – The exit of vehicles with Lithuanian license plates from Belarusian border checkpoints has been temporarily suspended, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

The State Border Committee said in a statement: “Starting at 9:00 a.m. on 10 November, the exit of vehicles with Lithuanian license plates through Belarusian checkpoints will be temporarily suspended to facilitate the redistribution of freight carriers among parking areas.”

The Belarusian border service is monitoring the situation and remains on constant alert for any developments.
