MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) – A total of 5,325 polling stations have been set up in Belarus ahead of the presidential election, BelTA learned from the CEC.
The largest number of polling stations have been set up in Gomel Oblast and Minsk Oblast (925 and 894 respectively), 861 - in Brest Oblast, 701 - in Minsk city, 683 - in Mogilev Oblast, 672 - in Vitebsk Oblast and 589 - in Grodno Oblast.
Applications to nominate members of the precinct commissions to local executive and administrative bodies close on 20 December, the CEC recalled.
