MINSK, 19 November (Belarus) – The State Border Committee of Belarus has received an official notification from the Lithuanian side regarding the opening of two border checkpoints, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
The Lithuanian authorities plan to reopen the Medininkai checkpoint (Kamenny Log on the Belarusian side) and Šalčininkai checkpoint (Benyakoni on the Belarusian side) at midnight on 20 November (1 a.m. Minsk time).
On the evening of 19 November, the State Border Committee of Belarus received an official notification from the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service under the Ministry of the Interior.
The Belarusian border service is prepared to resume the passage of individuals and vehicles at the Belarusian-Lithuanian border section.
