Belarus outlines priorities for cultural cooperation in 2026

MINSK, 13 March (BelTA) – At the press conference Development of Event Tourism in Belarus at the BelTA press center, Consultant of the Department of Culture and Folk Art of the Belarusian Culture Ministry Veronika Shishkovskaya revealed with which countries Belarus plans to expand cultural cooperation in 2026.

According to Veronika Shishkovskaya, cooperation programs have been signed with Vietnam, China, Kyrgyzstan, Zimbabwe, Georgia, and Indonesia. “Developing international cooperation is a key tool for strengthening mutual understanding and shaping a positive image of our country in order to attract tourists,” she emphasized.

A number of events are planned within the framework of international cooperation in 2026. “Soon, on 18 March, the Days of Culture of Russia will take place in our country, and in April – Tajikistan’s Culture Days. The Days of Belarus’ Culture will be held in April in Russia’s Samara Oblast,” the consultant noted.

The Days of Belarusian Cinema are also planned. The country’s film industry will be showcased in Vietnam, Kazakhstan, India, and various regions of Russia.
