MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) — In January-October 2024, companies of all forms of ownership built 30,400 apartments. A total of 2.980,100 square meters of the total area of housing were commissioned, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
Belarus commissioned some 992,500 square meters of housing for people registered as in need of better living conditions, which accounted for 33.3% of the total housing commissioned. Some 631,600 square meters of such housing were subsidized by the government.
As to rural communities, 1.122,00 square meters of housing were delivered there, or 37.6% of homes commissioned in the country.
