MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) - Belarus and Cuba have held discussions on bilateral military collaboration, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
During an official visit to Cuba, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces - First Deputy Defense Minister of the Republic of Belarus Pavel Muraveiko held negotiations with Chief of the General Staff and First Deputy Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba Roberto Legra Sotolongo.
The parties reviewed the state and prospects for bilateral defense cooperation and also the framework for implementing specific joint initiatives. The parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the Belarus-Cuba strategic partnership.
