
MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) - The Belarusian government approved the international technical assistance project “Protecting Belarus' forests: an integrated initiative to ensure preparedness for wildfire prevention and response at the local level”. This is stipulated by Resolution of the Council of Ministers No.263 of 15 May 2025, which was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal on 16 May, BelTA has learned.
The project was approved following the proposals of the Commission on International Technical Cooperation under the Council of Ministers. Coordination and effective control over the project implementation is provided by the Forestry Ministry.
The resolution comes into force from the date of its adoption.
