
MINSK, 15 May (BelTA) - Belarus and China seek to develop bilateral cooperation in forensic expert activity, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian State Committee of Forensic Examinations.
A delegation from the State Committee of Forensic Examinations led by Chairman of the committee, Major General of Justice Aleksei Volkov arrived in the People's Republic of China on a working visit. On 14 May, Aleksei Volkov met with China’s Justice Minister He Rong. The parties discussed the practical implementation of the memorandum of understanding on forensic services signed on 13 September 2022.
Following the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Institute of Forensic Science of China’s Justice Ministry and the Scientific and Practical Center of the Belarusian State Committee of Forensic Examinations. The document outlines a series of joint activities aimed at exchanging experience and improving expert research methodologies.

Aleksei Volkov expressed gratitude for the opportunity to visit China’s Justice Ministry and reaffirmed Belarus’ interest in further cooperation. “We see our visit as an important step toward strengthening friendly ties and fostering constructive inter-agency cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the People’s Republic of China,” he stated.
Both parties agreed to further bilateral cooperation in forensic activity.
