MINSK, 25 February (BelTA) – The Central Election Commission of Belarus has not received any information about provocations at polling stations, Secretary of the Central Election Commission Yelena Baldovskaya told reporters, BelTA has learned.
“So far, we have not received information about violation of public order or provocations at polling stations,” said Yelena Baldovskaya.
“Precinct election commissions have arranged the voting process in accordance with the law. The police are on duty. Therefore, provocations, if any, will be suppressed to make sure that the voting process is proceeding smoothly, in line with the schedule and in accordance with the law,” the CEC secretary added.
