MINSK, 15 May (BelTA) - A delegation from the Belarusian State Committee of Forensic Examinations took part in the opening ceremony of the 12th China International Exhibition on Police Equipment (CIEPE) in Beijing, the committee’s press service told BelTA.
The Belarusian delegation explored cutting-edge global developments in law enforcement and the modernization of forensic unit infrastructure.
Chairman of the Belarusian State Committee of Forensic Examinations Aleksei Volkov delivered a welcoming speech at the event. "Belarus and China face common tasks: ensuring national security, developing law enforcement and forensic activities and implementing advanced technologies," he said, adding that such events create unique opportunities to develop professional dialogue, exchange experience and strengthen international cooperation.
Aleksei Volkov met with China’s First Deputy Public Security Minister Qi Yanjun. The parties expressed confidence in furthering mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation between the countries.
