Belarus advises it citizens against travel to Israel, Iran

MINSK, 16 June (BelTA) - The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends Belarusian citizens to refrain from traveling to Israel and Iran due to the ongoing tense situation in these countries, BelTA has learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Belarusian ministry continues to closely monitor the situation and maintains communication with Belarusian citizens currently in these territories.

Consular services of the Belarusian diplomatic missions in Israel and Iran are only accepting emergency consular requests. The processing of documents for other inquiries has been temporarily suspended.

Emergency contact numbers have been made available for swift communication with citizens.

In Iran, authorities are gathering information and creating lists of citizens seeking assistance. Relevant issues are being coordinated with Russian counterparts.

Belarusian nationals currently in Israel and Iran should strictly follow the recommendations of the local authorities, particularly regarding bomb shelters, to ensure personal safety and to stay in contact with Belarusian diplomatic missions.
