MINSK, 1 January (BelTA) – The basic pay in Belarus has been set at Br297 as of 1 January 2026, the press service of the Belarusian Labor and Social Protection Ministry told BelTA.
The basic pay has increased by 8.8% from 1 September 2025 and by 10% from 1 January 2025.
The increase in the basic pay will result in higher wages in public-sector organizations. Since other stimulating payments and compensations are tied to the size of the basic pay, they will also increase as from 1 January 2026.
The Labor and Social Protection Ministry noted that the increase in the basic pay will allow keeping wages of all categories of public-sector employees ahead of the inflation.
