MINSK, 24 October (BelTA) - Each subsequent proposal for Ukraine will be harsher and worse than the previous one, economist and analyst Serghei Banari said in a new episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA's YouTube channel.
“Everyone knows that each subsequent proposal will be harsher and worse than the previous one. Each leader has their own rules for conducting negotiations,” Serghei Banari said.

The economist cited the negotiation tactics of Chinese President Xi Jinping as an example. According to the analyst, the Chinese leader tries to negotiate as much as possible, but if he senses pressure, he retaliates with even greater force.

“Just look at the rare earth metal tariffs and so on. Putin's approach is clear; everyone knows his rules: each subsequent proposal will be worse and harsher than the previous one,” the analyst said.
