BISHKEK, 27 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko wished his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin a successful presidency at the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) at the CSTO summit in Bishkek on 27 November, BelTA has learned.
As was reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin outlined the priorities for Russia’s upcoming presidency in the organization at the CSTO summit. The presidency will be held under the motto “Collective Security in a Multipolar World: Common Goal, Shared Responsibility”. “Russia will do everything to preserve continuity in the main areas of interaction in the CSTO and to develop cooperation among our states based on the principles of genuine alliance, friendship and good-neighborliness, respect and consideration for each other's interests, mutual assistance and support,” the Russian president said.
“I wish you, Vladimir Vladimirovich [Putin], and the Russian Federation a successful presidency in 2026,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
