
MINSK, 12 June (BelTA) – The situation in Vitebsk Oblast will be examined soon. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the relevant statement as he met with top officials of the Belarus President Administration on 12 June, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “A practical event will be a government conference on the development of Vitebsk Oblast. It is necessary to review what good things we have created over there and what results that reform [to set up integrated structures in agriculture] has produced. The reform was suggested in the days of [the former Vitebsk Oblast governor] Nikolai Nikolayevich Sherstnev.”
