MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko supported the proposal to assign the status of the All-Belarusian Youth Construction Site to two projects: the construction of the National History Museum and the People's Unity Park, BelTA learned.
This proposal to the head of state was made by the participants of the student team movement during the closing ceremony of the third labor semester of 2024.
“We will!” the students assured the head of state.
“I don't mind. We always need working hands,” the Belarusian leader said.
The projects that have the status of the All-Belarusian Youth Construction Site are the BelNPP, the Khatyn memorial complex, the National Center for Patriotic Education of Youth at the Kobrin fortification of the Brest Fortress.

“We will!” the students assured the head of state.
In response, Aleksandr Lukashenko pointed out that the construction of these facilities, as well as many others, requires considerable financial expenditures, which mainly come from the budget, but the entire Belarusian society should contribute to this course. “This will be your solid contribution. Generations will remember it,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.
