MINSK, 23 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed decree No.67 “On transfer to the reserve and on conscription for active military service, for reserve service” on 23 February, the press service of the head of state told BelTA.
The document provides for drafting Belarus’ male citizens, who have turned 18 by the draft date and who are not exempt from conscription, as well as citizens of conscription age, who have lost their right to deferment, for active military service, for reserve service in March-May 2026.
At the same time, the decree provides for transferring to the reserve the active military service personnel, who have completed their mandatory military service.
