Lukashenko signs decree on higher pensions as from 1 October

MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed decree No.357 “On raising pensions” on 12 September, BelTA has learned.

The document provides for recalculating retirement pensions and for raising them by the average of 5% as from 1 October 2024.

About Br2 billion will be spent on paying pensions in October 2024, including Br95 million as additional costs to raise the pensions in accordance with the presidential decree.
