MINSK, 31 December (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated foreign leaders on New Year festivities, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
Greetings on behalf of the Belarusian head of state have been sent to the leadership of the Russian Federation, leaders of countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, state, political, public, artistic, and religious figures, representatives of the private sector of the CIS states, heads of other countries in various parts of the globe, and heads of international and regional organizations.
In particular, Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent New Year greetings to Russia President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, Armenia President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and Kazakhstan’s first president Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov, Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon, Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedow, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, and Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Numerous New Year’s greetings addressed to the Belarus president keep coming from foreign leaders, heads of international organizations and well-known individuals. Greeting have already been received from the leaders of Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Vietnam, Mongolia, Oman, Jordan as well as from high-ranking officials of various international organizations, including the CSTO, the CIS, and the SCO.
