Lukashenko, Putin hear out report from Russian army’s General Staff

MOSCOW, 26 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko together with President of Russia Vladimir Putin heard out a report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The Belarusian head of state mentioned the fact after the meeting in the Kremlin, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian head of state said that his Russian counterpart hides nothing from him. And during the meeting the presidents received a report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation via a telephone conference. “Listen, on all battlefronts and particularly in some sectors Russians have practically captured major populated localities. And as I look at the geography, I wonder what comes next. And next it will be already difficult to stop the Russian army,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stated.

“Therefore, to avoid losing all of Ukraine, Vladimir Aleksandrovich [Zelensky] should not just talk, but agree to terms favorable to him [regarding conflict resolution]. The terms that, generally speaking, have been approved by Americans. They took some time off to think. Russians have agreed,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stated.
