
MINSK, 8 August (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
The heads of state conducted a detailed discussion regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin's recent meeting with U.S. President’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and the U.S. side's proposals for peace negotiations.
Vladimir Putin informed Aleksandr Lukashenko about the Kremlin negotiations and the arrangements reached between the Russian and U.S. presidents concerning an upcoming meeting, with the location still under consideration.
