KORMA, 12 October (BelTA) – The goal of the government is to make Belarus even stronger, more beautiful and richer, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he addressed a ceremony honoring farmers during Dazhynki 2024 harvest festival in the town of Korma, Gomel Oblast on 12 October, BelTA has learned.
"When there is a goal, it is clear where to go. Our goal has never changed. It is to make our Belarus stronger, more beautiful, richer and more independent," the president said. “To make sure that not only we, but our children and grandchildren live on their land with their own minds. So that no one ever dares to run them over."

The head of state noted that the festival brought together the best and brightest, the people who multiply the achievements of the country with their work.
"You know how to achieve your goals as well as I do. I see how much you love your land. Since my last visit, it has become more beautiful. This transformation has a part of the work of each of you, your commitment to your land, devotion to your roots and dreams of the future," Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed. “You are true patriots. Thank you so much for your reverent attitude to your native land. Thank you very much for your work, for supporting the course that our country has taken."
